To become a member of NAGS any organization or firm doing business in the United States that, in the normal course of its business, is a manufacturer and/or supplier of products designed for use by local government and sold by direct sales contact by representatives of the respective manufacturers and/or suppliers to government agencies may become a member of this Association upon election.

Any qualified firm or organization may become a member of the Association upon being recommended for membership by at least two members by written application to the secretary-treasurer, and upon receiving a two-third vote of the members present at a meeting of the Association, in person or by proxy.
